Proxy Server Settings
The proxy servers are being removed from service. Please remove all proxy server settings from your computer(s).
Proxy services are being replaced by the District's web content filters. Unless you remove the proxy settings, you'll get a restrictive set of pages you can go to.
For WINDOWS:
In "Internet Options", under the 'Connections' tab, click on 'Lan Settings'.
Un-check the box that says to use the proxy server, then click OK
for Firefox:
In Preferences, click on 'advanced' tab, then click on 'network' tab. In 'settings', make sure "direct connection to the internet" is chosen. Click "ok" until all windows are closed again.

Proxy Server Settings in Firefox
From the ARD Admin computer, click on the following links to download the instructions and the the files needed for removing proxy setting in Firefox on a Mac. NOTE: to download the all.js file, hold down the option key while clicking the link, otherwise this file will appear as text in a web page.
